The animation on the left was made to test Aseprite features like gradient, blurring and sharpening. It’s the second cutscene in the game.

The pixel art title was made in Aseprite, and the rest is made in Krita.
The piece on the left was the first I made using Krita. It’s actually a decal of a handdrawn drawing I had made.
The fan-favorite character. He originally had a very small role in the game, being only the first boss. But due to the incredible feedback from the players, I decided to give him a bigger role and I don’t regret it, I had a lot of fun drawing and writing his dialogues.
Fun fact : his design is inspired from Bowser’s wedding costume in Mario Odyssey
Telvir is the player character. Léonore is the first character to join the party.
