Clip Studio Paint : for my graphic novel and in general.
Krita : for all purposes, free and open-source. High quality.
Sketchbook (free) : for storyboarding. Lightweigth and supports very large files lag-free, whereas Krita lags a lot when the files are too big. With Sketchbook, I can have the storyboard for an entire chapter (± 20 pages) opened in a single file without issue.
Inkscape : for vectorial art like logos. Free and open-source, a must have.
Perspective Grid Maker : create custom perspective grids easily
Dieback : little indie soft for making Earthbound-like psychedelic battle backgrounds or other visual effects

Pixel Art :

Aseprite : for all purposes, it’s simply the best.
JPixel : for tileset making, because that feature isn’t in Aseprite yet.
Normal Painter : little indie software for manually painting normal maps
Odanako : vectorial pixel art, better bezier curves handling than Aseprite
SpriteMancer, JuiceFX, MiniFX, FluidFX, Smear FX, PixelFX Design 1 & 2, Pixel Composer : for advanced visual & particles effects
Lipsu : for uh… I’m not sure but it’s good. you can make squiggly lines with it
